We caught up with the Victoria’s Secret Angel this week for Sunglass Hut’s Summer Block Party in Miami to celebrate the opening of their largest store yet. Although she admits to loving a good pair of sunnies, this Vogue cover girl is anything but shady.

All top local modeling agencies will pit their best professional posers, as well as some professional volleyball players, against each other for the most attractive ball game known to man. While we can think of plenty of questions that may arise during such a battle of brawny and beauty — such as "Why can't I look that good when I'm sweating?", or "How can I get a bod like that?" — we suggest you just sit back and enjoy the view of this completely co-ed event. Talk about summer beach body inspiration! It’s pretty clear that the angels have been taking the Magic City by storm lately, but sadly, they're going back to heaven. The gals concluded their trip yesterday at the Mondrian, wrapping up the first stop in their “Very Sexy Jet Tour;" VS babes Adriana Lima, Erin Heatherton, and Candice Swanepoel are travelling to major U.S. cities to do some skimpily-clad promotion for the new Very Sexy collection. The range features the Very Sexy fragrance and various new styles and shapes for the brand’s most popular push up, the, you guessed it, Very Sexy bra. We wish they could stay longer, as we’re sure the angels blessed us with some celestial vibes during their stay (wasn’t it supposed to thunderstorm yesterday?), but like all saints, there's a lot of work to be done. However, they did leave you with a picture to make your desktop background if you're looking for added motivation to get to the gym after work (what, we do it). Au revoir angels, until next time!

The Angels Have Landed: Michael Bay Shoots VS Models At A-Rod's Pad
Poor Alex Rodriguez. Just after he took off for NYC, his Miami manse welcomed several heavenly Angels. Let's clarify: Victoria's Secret Angels (though for a lot of men, perhaps there's no difference?). It seems A-Rod acted as absentee host to models Candice Swanepoel, Behati Prinsloo, and Doutzen Kroes, who are all in town to shoot a new lingerie ad, filmed by Transformers producer Michael Bay, no stranger to gorgeous girls.
Dressed in bright and very skimpy lingerie, the gals displayed legs that seem to go on for miles, and toned stomachs that makes us feel a wee bit guilty about the Thin Mints we had for lunch. Rodriguez's girlfriend Torrie Wilson probably doesn't feel too bad that he was out of town. Not What We Mean By High/Low: Gisele Wears Sandals With A Gown
If Gisele wears an evening gown with flip flops, that means we can wear an evening gown with flip flops, too. Right? It's probably a smart move to follow in the supermodel's footsteps — her name is synonymous for being the highest paid in the biz — and the first step is checking out her latest campaign for Ipanema sandals. But maybe not. The model's most recent South Beach appropriate designs (she started designing for the brand in 2002) come in an array of monochromatic, floral hues with brooches for straps that are perfect for the sand, but probably not for a cocktail party.
Admittedly, we can dig Mrs Brady's dressed-down approach to floor-length dresses. It's a way to get more use of out an outfit that you may only wear for one occasion. But, even the model with the magic marketing touch can go a little too far. While those in the 305 are probably experts on casual footwear, despite Gisele's beautiful butterfly stance (yes, she still looks gorgeous!), we'll have to pass on (another) questionable evening wear styling combination. It always makes us feel warm and fuzzy when we see a local getting some national love. If you don't know Shareen Sarwar — the gal behind Vintage Maven — then you haven't been reading Refinery29 too closely.
No worries, because the Miami blogger lets readers into her world via an exclusive interview with e-commerce indie staple ModCloth (and debuts a pretty adorbs dress that the ModCloth peeps named in her honor). Sarwar, along with her photographer husband, run Vintage Mavens, which isn't just a stylish blog that uses Miami as inspiration, but an actual store chock-full of goods, both vintage and on-trend.
The Bangladesh-born and New York-raised blogger shoots her stylish posts all around the city, playing with color and daring to show some pretty killer gams. And not only can Sarwar add "star blogger" to her resume — aside from modeling, writing, running a store, and styling, she now has her own line, called We Are Vintage Mavens — a name that couldn't be more spot on.
