Well, to Chef Cesar Zapata at The Federal, it means it’s time to celebrate the six-foot-two grand dame of French cuisine, immortalized by her cookbooks and Meryl Streep, with a Miami Spice menu highlighting butter and the “Lady of the Kitchen.” Menu standouts include a caramelized onion tart with wine braised cipollini onions, fromage blanc, la quercia bacon, and truffle oil, because as Julia herself said, “Life itself is the proper binge.”
