The Dutch
Price: Lunch, $23; Dinner, $39

We’ve heard and tasted a thing or two about this American comfort-food fad that’s taken over the most buzzed-about menus, but we also know that Andrew Carmellini does it just right. The Dutch has, what we’ll dub, the best-looking menu (design-wise), and the only menu problem we foresee is figuring out what to order for each course. We’d go with the chilled carrot and ginger soup with a shrimp ceviche to start, followed by the crisp mutton-snapper served alongside a sweet corn succotash, bacon lardon, and pork popcorn — pork popcorn, you guys.

The Dutch at the W South Beach, 2201 Collins Avenue; 305-938-3111.
