Martha, Martha, Martha. You're the ultimate media mogul, can DIY a floral arrangement that could make us cry, and then turn it into the most exquisite potpourri once it has wilted. But dating? Girl, that's hard! So, instead of just sitting back and waiting for Mr. Right, she did what so many of us and our peers have tried: She went online. Yes, Stewart turned to Match.com to look for a possible suitor, as she admitted to Matt Lauer on the Today show this morning. And, this afternoon, when we went to hear her speak at the National Association for Professional Women conference, she was keen to divulge that she's serious about this dating business.
"I have a new nephew-in-law, his name is Dan Slater and he's wrote a book called, Love in the Time of Algorithms," she told us. "It's a very fine book about the history of online dating, so he's going to help me fill out the form. We're going to do it on the Today show just for fun." Hear that, everyone — if you want to date the 71-year-old boss lady/babe, well, we suggest you snap your best selfie and set up your online profile pronto. Should you brush up on your antiquing or soufflé skills? Our bachelorette would not say. "You'll read that on Match.com."
