What's the most treasured item in your closet?
"That's a tricky one. I'm going to say my wedding dress, which has been preserved to guilt my future daughters into wearing! Also, my grandmother's engagement ring. If I got to pick a third I wouldn't be able to. Too many things in my closet are just completely irreplaceable. When we were insuring the items in our house I got very upset when they asked me to put a price on my clothes! It's impossible! If we ever had a fire, no amount of money could bring back what I've collected over the years."

If you had to restrict your closet to three designers. Who would they be?
"Marni, Anna Sui, and Balenciaga ... and then I'd borrow a lot of Prada and Marc Jacobs."
