Lutz & Patmos regularly invites famous non-designers such as Sofia Coppola and Julianne Moore to create a limited edition sweater for this series, but this season they've selected Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu. The South African activist, who was a leader in the fight against apartheid and remains active in combating AIDS and poverty, designed a short-sleeved scoop neck top with a vestment-inspired band collar. The sweater comes with a detachable beaded necklace by artisans at the Hillcrest AIDS Center Trust and is available in black, eggshell, and the bright purple-magenta of his signature robe. Each sweater and necklace set retails for $425 and is available at lutzandpatmos.com, Barneys, and Kirna Zabete. $40 of each sweater is donated to the Desmond Tutu Peace Center, and $30 of each necklace is donated to the Hillcrest AIDS Center Trust.
