Fashion Tattoos Just Got A Fine Jewelry Makeover

We can’t imagine any instance in which we’d wear a 14-karat gold bracelet and then toss it away like trash. But, with this latest collaboration, Moda Operandi is banking on it. That’s because these pieces are only intended to shine short-term.
Together with fine jewelry brands Alison Lou, Paula Mendoza, Noor Fares, and Daniela Villegas, the MO-exclusive collab has reimagined some of the the labels' most precious and pricey pieces into fashion tattoos created by Lulu DK. The brand has already become known for temporary body art, but teaming with designers who know the ins and outs of jewelry that doesn’t scrub away is a first.
While the 2-D effect is not quite as impactful as the real, solid-metal thing, the tats are a clever way to enjoy the charm of an Alison Lou heart-eyes pendant or a cool Paula Mendoza coiled cuff, even if you can’t afford to shell out several hundred dollars to do so. Specifically, these gold and silver stickers will run you $48 for a set of two sheets. And, with multiple bracelets, necklaces and rings on each page, that's a whole lot of shine you can pile on. At least, until you break out the rubbing alcohol.
