Decor Dare: Try A Very Short Coffee Table

    Oversized can be way overrated — especially with coffee tables. Low-to-the-ground, subtle pieces can sometimes have more wow factor than massive, architectural ones. This neutral living room in Toronto (the home of design shop Mjölk's owners) proves that a small-scale chair and table combination can make a huge impact without sacrificing an intimate vibe.

    The key is in the leg proportion. The top of the tiny copper table lines up with the tan track chair right at the seating for great line harmony. And, the neutral rug, small brass bowl, and modern white lamp tie the two pieces together to create a well-curated vignette. It tells its own little story.
