When it came time to plan their big day, Laura and Jeff abandoned tradition in favor of a creative venue that was perfectly them: a working shipyard.

Determined to make the most of their tight budget, they transformed the Boothbay Harbor shipyard in Portland, Maine, from a raw and industrial blank canvas into an oh-so-chic setting for their "I dos." The crafty couple added some handmade touches, including a DIY photo booth, and treated guests to a food-truck feast, a dozen cakes of different flavors adorned with fresh flowers, and sweet little succulents to take home as favors.

Clad in a stunning sequined dress and a sleek, black-and-white suit, the bride and groom exchanged their vows with an oceanfront view, and then danced the night away in a unique bayside setting.
