This wedding (originally featured on MunaLuchi Bride
) is a celebration of all that New York City has to offer. The couple, college sweethearts Tina and Jean-Claude, fell in love in Manhattan and got engaged in Bryant Park, so they decided to create a wedding that drew upon the modern, metropolitan details of their favorite city. They even arranged to have their first look along the Long Island City waterfront, with the beautiful boardwalk and city skyline as the backdrop for their photos.
Tina and Jean-Claude opted for a minimalist affair, using classy whites and ivories to set the timeless mood. The bride rocked a birdcage veil and an understated fit-and-flare dress, but the groom’s midnight
-blue tuxedo and the bridesmaids’ fuchsia dresses and turquoise earrings definitely brightened up the entire day — including the photos.
The couple wanted to create a fun, celebratory atmosphere for their guests, who traveled from as far as Canada and Cameroon to be a part of their nuptials. And, as you’ll see ahead, they accomplished just that.
