Graduate-school sweethearts Kelly and Ed wanted their wedding to reflect the merging of their Chinese and British heritages. They opted to tie the knot in Oxford, not far from Ed's hometown, and they beautifully incorporated cultural elements like paper cranes and colorful rice confetti.
Kelly wore an elegant, white, beaded Jenny Packham dress with an edgy black-leather jacket and red Louboutins (a nod to the Chinese tradition of brides wearing the bold color), while the bridesmaids wore short, floral frocks. The couple exchanged vows in the beautiful Bodleian Library. They followed their "I dos" with a boat ride down to their reception at a river cafe. There, guests danced, twirled sparklers, and toasted the couple with little baijiu (Chinese spirits) glasses hand-painted with "Kelly + Ed."
