Finally, A Sex Toy That Gives You Suggestions

Getting better at anything requires taking some constructive criticism. And, sorry, your sex life is no different. But, with this new vibrator, the Independent reports, you'll get some extra fun with that feedback. Called Lovely, the vibrating toy fits around the base of a penis and is angled to stimulate the clitoris during penetrative sex. The Lovely also tracks your sex life. Essentially, it works like any other kind of activity tracker: It'll keep track of the boring stuff (e.g. calories burned) and will also take note of sexual frequency, speed, and force. Then, using that data, Lovely can suggest personalized ways to improve your performance. So, in the way your Jawbone might suggest heading out for a quick lunchtime walk, the Lovely could nudge you in the direction of a crazy new position, or tell you to try a little more foreplay. This extra bonus sets the Lovely apart from other sex-tracking devices out there, such as the SexFit or Geeksme, which don't offer the same type of creative alternatives. While Lovely was clearly designed with straight, cis couples in mind, its other features — including the "booty call" option — could be enjoyed (or mocked) by pretty much anyone. It's currently crowdfunding on Indiegogo, and you can get one with a contribution of $129. Because why let any area of your life go unmonitored?
