Do ALL Of Your Accessorizing With This Color-Coded Collection
We're used to grabbing a hat from this brand, a scarf over at the next, and then hitting up a couple more for handbags or shoes. Never two pieces from the same label at the same time (we're not catalog models, after all). But after syping Aussie brand Benah's new looks at the Standard Downtown LA's store, we might be willing to try accessorizing entire outfits using only their carefully toned, completely delectable goods. See, it's not just that their bags – ranging from clutch all the way up to tote – are pitch perfect in their simplicity, or that their suede shoes, psychedelic scarves, and lovable hats hit upscale casual right on the nose. It's that most of the offerings in Benah's latest season's collection come in three shared colors – blue, a rich maroon, pink, and an alluring pale chartreuse. Just take a look at the offerings, and you'll see that going monochromatic (and... monobrandatic?) could really pay off. What's your favorite combo?
Available at The Standard Downtown L.A., 550 South Flower Street (between West 5th and West 6th streets); 213-892-8080 and Benah

Safe Assumption: Kate Spade Is A Closet Sega Genesis Fan
There’s something creepy afoot — but it’s not that we don’t like it. There’s a certain
cute factor, we’ll admit. It’s just that the last coin-guzzling blue hedgehog we
had the pleasure of knowing lived in a video game. And while the Sega game once ate up most of our time between homework and dinner, at $95 a pop, Kate Spade has now really tugged at our grown-up heartstrings with this little Sonic the (patent-leather fringed, 14-karat gold plated) Hedgehog. We kinda want to get him an
exercise wheel. Is that weird?
You Can Actually Buy The Bed Bella & Edward Had Sex In

Alright, Twi-hards. We're warning you to only read on if you're truly a fanatic. This is a biggie (and maybe really gross?). The bed that Bella and Edward got graphically and painfully hot-and-heavy in during The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn film (out tomorrow!!) can now be yours. In what has to be one of the more bizarre marketing schemes we've encountered, PCH Series by MASH Studios, an L.A. based design firm responsible for the canopy bed frame shown in the movie, is selling the same frame for a Cullen-friendly price— $4,500 for the queen or $5,100 for the king. Movie aside, the solid wood bed might actually be an investment piece, but, guys, no judgement here, we're not that obsessed. What do you think? Bedroom furniture must-have or just Twilight overkill?

Simone Camille's New Leather Bags Are Your Boho Dream Come True

A little bit rock-'n'-roll and a little bit boho, these new bags from Simone Camille make our hearts go pitter-patter. Designer Simone Harouche, whose famous fabric bags have won the hearts of Nicole Richie and Miley Cyrus, has made her new line out of buttery leather and decked 'em out with Southwest elements such as silver coins, turquoise beads, and intricately woven textiles. The pieces range from $689 to $975, so you can splurge without jeopardizing too many months of rent. Pair with your favorite maxi-skirt, a floppy hat, and some super-round sunnies, and you'll be giving Richie a run for her money in no time.

These New Baseball-Inspired O.C. x Keds Shoes Are A Home Run

Ready to play ball? The folks over at Opening Ceremony have teamed up with Keds once again to reprise the Keds Champion Series—this time bringing back a fan favorite from the mid-'90s. Giving a nod to that great American pastime, these baseball-inspired kicks come in three colors—black leather, colorblocked red, yellow, and blue leather, and white leather—and even feature pinstripe lining. These nostalgic sneaks are available at O.C. stores starting in September for $125 each.
Plastic Bodega Bags, Done Up As Real, Leather Handbags

Plastic bodega bags are a ubiquitous presence in everyday life: Stashed under your kitchen sink, littering your car and bedroom, and artfully flying in the breeze. Lots of eco-minded folks have made good on reducing this plastic by creating reusable, bring-with-you bags, to much acclaim. But Cast of Vices has one-upped them all: Leather totes that are dead-ringers for corner-store plastic bags. The lambskin carry-alls are hand-embossed and available in four bodega stand-bys: “I heart NY,” the “have a nice day” smiley face, the exponential “thank you,” and the understated, ever-present recycle/safety notice. It’s a significant upgrade from the pollutant plastic, and the price reflects this, hovering in the neighborhood of $200 for both the large and small sizes. Pricey, yes, but these luxe leather bags are probably the coolest way to “do your part” that we’ve seen yet. (American Rag)
