Our New Favorite Olsen Hits The Cover Of ASOS

Not that we've given up on The Twins, but with an impressive turn in Martha Marcy May Marlene and a budding career as an indie darling, Elizabeth is the Olsen sister with the most currently exciting trajectory – and style. Her approach to mixing sophisticated pieces (Céline, Isabel Marant, Marni with true teen picks — think cut-off jeans and colorful tops) is softer and lighter than her more famous siblings.

And that's one of the major reasons we so dug into her new ASOS magazine Todd Cole editorial and interview as soon as it popped up over here. Wearing armfuls of ASOS, Levi's, and a touch of her sisters' Elizabeth and James (half-named for her, if you didn't already know) in a teen-scrapbook style photoshoot, Lizzie masters a light, colorful look we'll be sure to replicate come spring, and offers tidbits on growing up Olsen, in a must-read interview. Oh, and there's even a behind-the-scenes vid to boot. (ASOS)

Cover Alert: Demi Finally Spills To Bazaar After Her Split!

6-hbz-deme-moore-frb-2012-cover-xl

Pals Demi Moore and Amanda de Cadenet go way back, and it's evident by their candid discussion in Bazaar's February issue. The pair tackle poignant issues like guilty pleasures, spirituality, and yes, even infidelity. Addressing her biggest fears, Demi says, "I would say what scares me is that I'm going to ultimately find out at the end of my life that I'm really not lovable, that I'm not worthy of being loved. That there's something fundamentally wrong with me." You can expect more of these authentic tête-à-têtes when the two beauties team up this spring for The Conversation, a show full of frank female discussions with cronies like Lady Gaga, Gwyneth, and DVF.

The Olsens Land Their FIRST Vogue Cover (In the Sister Issue, Obvi)

MK & A prove, once again, that nothing beats a rocking set of genes. The duo have landed on the cover of Vogue's special edition "Best Dressed" issue that will hit newsstands (then quickly fly off) on November 15. Like us, it seems that Anna's got a thing for twins since she finally put The Row designers on their first cover, after a long-overdue and well-deserved wait. Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen have also found themselves in the company of other biologically connected beauties, including Hollywood youngin's Dakota and Elle Fanning, royalty Kate and Pippa Middleton, the divine Beyoncé and Solange Knowles, runway superstars Lily and Ruby Aldridge, and style-star heiresses Claire and Virginie Clarins, who all appear in the glossy. Inspired by pair after pair of extraordinary siblings, Vogue calls 2011 the "Year Of The Sister;" a title that makes all our hearts smile. We're kinda dying to get our hands on the sure-to-be picturesque issue, and sure, we'll share it with big sis, too. (Fashionista)

Katy Perry Goes Very Pink For Her Latest Cover

While we’re all but immune to getting shocked by Katy Perry’s hairstyles, her pink period seems to be here to stay. She debuted her hot head hue a few days before the VMAs, and now she’s covering InStyle rocking her rose locks. We’ve seen her with black, blue, purple, and tie-dyed tresses, but we’re still on the fence about her current color—does it feel like she’s copying Gwen Stefani from her Return Of Saturn era, or do you think Katy’s pink phase is a bright spot in her hair history? Michelle Williams Channels Marilyn Monroe For Vogue’s October Cover…

We’ve already shown you the first official pics of Michelle Williams as the iconic platinum-blonde bombshell Marilyn Monroe, but now you can feast your eyes on an entire Annie Leibovitz-shot portfolio from October’s issue of Vogue. Inspired by the upcoming film My Week With Marilyn, we think Leibovitz and fashion editor Tonne Goodman got the look just right—they not only re-imagined some of Marilyn's most iconic images, but the creative team behind the magazine shots also played up Michelle Williams' inherent sex appeal-meets-vulnerability that allows her to embody the screen star so completely. The photos are stunning, so make sure you check them all out here before you pop on over to Vogue.com to read the article before it hits your local newsstand.

Christina Ricci Bugs Out On Nylon

We’ve been Christina Ricci fans since Mermaids, but her latest magazine cover has us a little, erm, confused. Maybe Miss Ricci wasn’t clear that there was a photographer there to take her photo, because she looks like a deer caught in the headlights. Her outfit is certainly adorable—and we can’t wait to see her new TV show, Pan Am—but we definitely think she might have needed a little pre-camera coaxing to get rid of those jitters. Hailee Steinfeld And Chloe Moretz Tear Up On The Cover Of LOVE

Not too long ago, we asked you what you thought of Hailee Steinfeld's grown-up look for Miu Miu. While we thought she looked like an elegant young lady far older than her 14 years, a few of you understandably said that she looked like a kid playing dress-up. Well, Steinfeld is back, along with Chloë Moretz in two stunning new covers for LOVE magazine, which blurs the lines between young girls and sophisticated starlets. Both covers feature the girls dressed in white, Victorian-esque clothes with a single tear dripping down their cheeks, as well as soft, muted colors with pops of reddish-pink. While their powerful stares and high-fashion outfits give them an older air, their porcelain skin also makes them look like dolls, reinforcing their young ages. How do you feel about these covers—do they look like mature young models, or is the Lolita-vibe giving you the creeps? (TheCut)

Emma Stone Stuns On The Cover Of Elle And Vanity Fair

From the moment Emma Stone won us over with her hilarious performance in Superbad (especially the infamous “WTF!” head-butting scene with Jonah Hill), we knew she was going to be someone to keep tabs on in Hollywood. With nine films in the bag, generating impeccable appearances on several red carpets, and three new ones getting released this summer, it’s no wonder she’s the covergirl for Elle ’s July 2011 issue and August’s Vanity Fair . Stone is unfailingly flawless, rocking blonde hair, sexy scarlet lips, and a feathered mellow-yellow Versace dress on the former. While on the VF cover, she’s got on a stunning retro bikini, and a sexy, tousled blond ‘do. No matter what era this modern movie star is channeling, it’s undeniable she’s the summer’s It Girl.

Blake Lively To Glamour: "I'm So Sick Of Myself."

Can life get any better for Blake Lively? Besides from being drop-dead gorgeous and reigning as one of the brightest stars on the big and small screens, she's now the face of Chanel's Mademoiselle handbag, walked hand-in-hand with Karl Lagerfeld at the Met Ball this year, and is reportedly in a fling with the equally beautiful Leo DiCaprio. Even with the recent glitch of possible nude photos being leaked, we couldn't be any more jealous of her life. This month the blonde bombshell graces the cover of Glamour with a stunning photoshoot and an in-depth interview with BFF Florence Welch, where Lively drops some interesting tidbits about herself, including the fact that she doesn't tweet because "honestly, I'm so sick of myself." When asked about breakups, the starlet says, "Every relationship you have, you're learning and growing and taking something from that. So for me, it's never been too dramatic of a thing when something ends." We're also quite surprised that in discussing her risque Versace dress from the 2009 Met Ball, this gorgeous girl said "...I thought, the only way I can wear this is to pretend I'm someone else. Who is somebody who completely owns her sexuality? I thought, Marilyn Monroe! So I'm going to be Marilyn Monroe tonight." Our favorite quote, however, comes from discussing how she once asked a New Orleans restaurant to send her a bottle of sauce inside a teddy bear because the FDA wouldn't allow them to mail it. She remembers, "I called the restaurant and I said, "OK, can you buy a teddy bear and cut it open and put it in and send it?" They're like, "No, we are not the drug cartel; we're not sending you your sweet potato sauce in a teddy bear." We'll give you points for creativity, Blake!

WTF: Lil' Wayne Covers Interview, Gets Interviewed By...Paris Hilton!

Lil' Wayne is no stranger to NYC, having spent 8 months imprisoned in Riker's Island. So inmates will have some interesting reading material courtesy of Interview magazine, whose April cover features none other than the rapper interviewed by...Paris Hilton. Yes, you read that right. The match-up provides an bizarre return to the headlines for the platinum-haired socialite, who presumably has been opening nightclubs in Dubai since her run-ins with Marijuana. Speaking of pot, perhaps the pairing is not too weird—Lil Wayne has been caught with the green stuff more than once, plus they're both experts on jail cell chic.

Here are our favorite quotes:

Britney Spears Glows On The Cover Of V Magazine, Wears Givenchy (Really)!

Some of us here (okay, one of us) have spent the past week stalking Brit-Brit on Twitter and listening to snippets of soon-to-be-released tracks from her new album, Femme Fatale, out March 29. So you can only imagine the excited squeals that hit the office after we finally peeped the pop queen's new V magazine cover, shot by Mario Testino. While we'll be the first to admit that Spears doesn't exactly ooze glam in her day-to-day outfits, the girl can still clean up well, as evidenced by the picture (above, right) she tweeted, saying "I HEART Mario Testino and V Magazine. Mag comes out tomorrow." And yes, she's wearing Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci (cue to her trying to pronounce that)! She did three different covers for the NYC-based mag in bubblegum colors, with Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, and Ralph Lauren also on the designer rotation. The pink version is our fave, with a huge quote from the diva: "The bitch is back and better than ever." If we said we want your body now....

Olivia Palermo Gets Steamy With Her Boyfriend In Barcelona

mango-johannes-olivia-palermo-02

The City may be a thing of the past, but by the look of things, Olivia Palermo certainly isn't. The show's cancellation seems to have hardly hurt the reality star-jewelry designer-socialite-model, who is having no trouble finding alternative mediums to remain in the public eye. In her newest feat, photographer Txema Yeste captured shots of Palermo posing alongside her boyfriend Johannes Huebl at Barcelona's Hotel Palace for the MANGO winter catalogue. The shots reveal a sultrier side of Palermo than we're used to, which could be due to the red lips, her sexy arm-candy, or her slicked back hair. Regardless, the girl, as per usual, looks gorgeous (can she look bad just once, please?!), and we have a feeling that Palermo will remain on our radar for some time to come.
