ArcLight
There are so many amazing blockbusters hitting the big screens this summer! What better time to get your cinema on than a Saturday when the weather makes you feel like sulking? Our top picks: Lola Versus with Greta Gerwig and Pixar's Brave (who didn't tear up a bit watching that trailer?).
ArcLight Theater Cinerama Dome, 6360 West Sunset Boulevard (at Ivar Avenue); 323-464-1478.

FIDM Museum
This is the one month the concrete jungle of L.A. won't scorch the hide from your back, so we highly recommend you pack in a full day of fun. Start at FIDM's Lucien Lelong spread of couture gowns from the icon's empire (admission's free!). If you haven't heard of him — even more reason to pop by. You can thank the '20s wunderkind for hand-picking designers like Balmain, Dior, and Givenchy — and he dressed screen sirens like Marlene Dietrich on the reg. After you've gotten your fashion fix, here's an entire itin to hit up afterwards.
Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising Museum, 919 South Grand Avenue (at West 9th Street); 213-623-5821.

Golden Road Brewing
Situated right next to The Brewery Colony, this is your spot to knock a few back if you're feeling a Sunday funday (or funk-day because of the icky elements outside). It's got custom IPAs galore, all made with local ingredients. The venue often hosts tastings, too, so check the schedule for a slew of ice-cold brews!
Golden Road Brewing, 5410 West San Fernando Road (at West Doran Street); 213-373-4677.

Other Notables:
Grow Your Own Media T-Shirt Making And Screen Printing Program, 3020 Glendale Boulevard #200 (near Greensward Road); 323-747-8700.
The Original Los Angeles Flower Market, 754 Wall Street (between 7th and 8th streets); 213-627-3696.
