Twisted Sister: Arielle de Pinto's S/S '09 Lookbook
We've long been caught in the web of Montreal-based jewelry designer Arielle de Pinto's's hand-crocheted cat's-cradle metal pieces. So, it was with a squeal of delight that we pounced on her new S/S '09 lookbook. Joining de Pinto's signature crocheted collars and spider-web chains are ropey fringed necklaces, low-slung flag-shaped nets, and a quirky two-sided pouch with just enough room for your cell phone. But not all of it will fit inside your jewelry box—the collection also boasts a multicolored woven metal racerback tank (think King Arthur meets Studio 54) and a gap-toothed, bulbous-nosed monster mask, bringing a whole new ripple to "Metal Head."
