Mad Hatter: Rike Feurstein Goes Spacey for Spring
As hats slowly slid out of the fashion focus (no more '50's formality around here), it seems milliners were largely shoved into designer obscurity. As of late, though, these headwear-focused designers have been gaining serious recognition once again (CFDA nominee Albertus Quartus anyone?). One of the brightest hat-stars coming out of Europe is Berlin-based Rike Feurstein, whose spring '09 collection is spacey and spectacular. Perhaps not ideal for the wallflower among us, these toppers are sure to garner quite a bit of attention.
