H&M Goes S&M With Pleather Bodysuits, Velvet Garter Straps, and More Saint Mark's Surprises For New Divided Collection
I used to buy studded bracelets and belts from H&M's Divided line, back when I was a mall rat and paired my cheap-y scores with skinny jeans and Converse. And after seeing these shots from the new Divided Exclusive line (the amped-up version of Divided, no doubt), I'm starting to get into the label all over again. The pieces are like a serious upgrade from the line's simple punk aesthetics: Leather bodysuits, a furry, oversized vest, and a black motorcycle jacket are very Alexander Wang, but look at that velvet minidress with the big puffed shoulders! Or the miniskirt with attached garter belt. Goth overtones much? But even though I can't wait 'til September to get my hands on those tweed shorts with the metal rivets, the rest of our office is not so smitten. Basically, we're an office Divided (har, har). So weigh in: Barf, or beauts? (Kingdom of Style)
