Iekeliene, Tanya, and Serafima Go Back to the Drawing Board For Chalayan's New Lookbook
Yes, it's a big Hussein Chalayan day down here at the Refinery. Next up, we've got Mr. Chalayan's fall/winter 2009 lookbook starring the lovely Iekeliene Stange, Tanya Dziahileva, Serafima Vakulenko, and Ann Catherine Lacroix sporting his deconstructed gowns, tops, and corsets (at least we think that's a corset). As he has in past lookbooks, Chalayan presents the finished products (which often come off as unfinished) alongside the structural sketches, inspirational photos, and initial doodles that fed into their creation. Like a good student, he wants to show you his homework. For this one, we're giving the ever-innovative designer an "A". (Design Scene)
