First Look: Topshop's Super-American Spring '09 Lookbook

Now that the high-street Brit retailer is finally coming stateside, we're wondering if they were thinking of the good 'ol U.S. of A. when conceiving the Spring collection. The sunny pieces feel so retro Americana: fringe jackets and scarves, washed denim bodysuits with a casual, cool blue button-up thrown over it, or the perfect plaid shirt knotted and tucked into high waisted shorts. At the same time, there's still plenty of the undeniably British looks we know and love: Union Jack blazers, big and bright florals, and snug motorcycle jackets. The beginning of a beautiful relationship between us and our across-the-pond neighbor? We think so.
