Death Takes a Holiday: Chronicles of Never Shows a Moody Spring Collection

chroniclesofnever1106a.jpg

When we think of spring, we think of light fabrics, florals, bright colors, and shorts. Seems that Gareth Moody over at Chronicles of Never begs to differ by getting all sorts of morbid on us, not that we mind. Take a look at the spring lookbook and you might be started by the mostly black palette, long draping cuts, and lean, gothic silhouette. It's all very Grim Reaper meets Rick Owens, right? Moody, formerly of Ksubi, created this unisex collection with all things dark and playful in mind. What's for sure is that this mate from down under created a new feel for spring that is just as sexy and desirable as anything else we've seen. Florals for spring? How cliché. Don't be surprised if doom and gloom is all the rage for spring '09.
