Finally, Makeup That Won’t Do The Slip-&-Slide

First dates can be hard. What should you wear? Where should you go? And, who picks up the check? So many questions, so few answers. Luckily, there's one that we've got a solution to: your beauty look.

The key to any type of date makeup is to use products that last past your first drink, like the entire lineup from the Infallible Pro Collection by L'Oréal Paris. It's formulated to hold its own, so even if you've got first-date sweat creeping down your hairline (happens to the best of us), your makeup won't budge. And, that's only half the beauty of this look. Watch as makeup artist Ashleigh Ciucci breaks down a berry eye and lip combo that's too pretty to pass up.

To get the look:

1. Start by applying a mattifying foundation all over your face. Use your fingers to apply the product if you want a lighter look, or try a brush for more coverage.

2. Use your index finger to pat concealer over any dark or uneven spots, and finish with a light dusting of powder to set your base makeup.

3. Contour the lazy-girl way using foundation powder two shades darker than your skin tone for subtle definition. Dust pressed powder at the top of your forehead, along the bridge of your nose, and in the hollows of your cheeks. Then, blend well with a fan brush to make sure there aren't any harsh lines remaining.

4. Get a realistic, skin-enhancing glow with pink eyeshadow in place of traditional highlighter, which often has silver undertones and can look harsh on your skin if it's not blended well. Pat the shadow on your cheekbones and along the bridge of your nose, then diffuse the product with a soft, fluffy brush.

5. Using a domed shadow brush, sweep a shimmery purple eyeshadow all over your lids from your lashline to your crease. Then, define your eyes with a coat of mascara on your upper and lower lashes.

6. DIY a soft yet bold pout by applying a long-wear lippie on the center of your lips. Use your fingers to blend the product out toward the edges of your lips for a softer finish.

7. Holding a makeup-setting spray at least eight inches away from your face, spritz in an X- and then T-shape for a budge-proof finish.

So, what beauty look should you try on your first date? This one.
