If a pony is your go-to 'do, dress it up with some mini braids à la Marchesa. No fancy fishtailing shenanigans here: simply create a center part, do four basic braids (two at either side of the part and two at either temple), and pin the ends around the elastic to hide it. Bonus points for pinning the braids in an elaborate shape as shown here, but even if you do a simpler version of this look, it's positively goddess-like.
