Shakespeare’s Globe — The original Elizabethan theatre, The Rose (where Shakespeare and Marlowe put up some of their first plays) was located nearby and burned in 1613. At this faithful reproduction, you can attend performances or just take a tour (led by actors, in a much more entertaining fashion than most other tours we've ever taken).
