The Stage
We have long waited for a place like The Stage to join the crop of local venues, and
hopefully, fingers crossed, it'll stick around for a long, long time. It’s a place that hosts
crawfish boils and St. Vincent, late night impromptu Wyclef performances and local-grown artwork on the walls. This indoor/outdoor space feels easy and open but
well designed and chic. The line at the door is rarely a hassle, and the occasional food
truck parks itself at the back of the yard. The curated blend of the best local talent,
events of all sorts, and indie touring acts is quickly becoming the signature style of
this newish place. Basically, it’s super dope.
