Best date spot in NYC:
"If we have never met before, Starbucks for sure. No pressure, and you are not stuck together if it is not working out.
First date? Still have to say the Boom Boom Room — the view never gets old. Or, dinner at Hotel Americano and a drink on the rooftop afterwards. The owner is a friend of mine and he has done an amazing job there."
Biggest turn off/ turn on:
"Turn off: Bad shoes (kidding). It is a woman who is full of herself. I have met a bunch, and trust me, they are never as great as they think.
Turn on: Confidence and good sense of style. A nice, friendly smile goes a long way as well."
Best date movie of all time: "None. Watching a movie is an activity for people who are already dating, not for going on a date, ever."
One thing you'd want someone to know about you on the first date: "My profession, as that will explain why I am working most weekends instead of having brunch with her."
Most romantic thing you've ever done for someone:
"Broke up with someone I truly loved because it was the best thing for her."
Most romantic thing someone's ever done for you:
"An ex said she would leave her family if that is what she had to do to be with me. Choosing me over family, that’s pretty romantic. But it is not realistic…or right: Life is not The Notebook."
