When we browsed through the offerings at Derrick R. Cruz's A New Hive exhibition at Earnest Sewn, we were most taken with his Black Sheep & Prodigal Sons Abandoned Honeycomb, a crystal of honey filled with gold charms (pictured below the jump). Naturally, it takes some melting and eating to get to Cruz's goods, and, while we love new jewelry, we really hate getting our hands sticky. Instead, to keep everything nice and organized, we'd rather pick up the latest release featured' in the Black Sheep lookbook, the "Dark Miracle" jewelry box (above). Appearing on your bookshelf as a leather-bound volume called, "Every Hour of Light is a Dark Miracle," after a Walt Whitman poem, the case features an upper case for your treasures (including your honey-drenched charms) and a lower compartment lined in 24-karat gilt for your most uncommon goods.
