"I don't own very many jeans — I'm a big fan of having fewer items, and buying things that will last a long time and work in any situation. So, generally, I need my jeans to be as versatile as possible. Minimalism and classic details are key. If you have butt flaps on your pockets, or artificial wear and tear you aren't doing denim right. I definitely like raw denim, because of the low maintenance aspect and how it changes over time. Also, you don't have to wash it (which I would do rarely anyway)."
