Dudes, we know, finding a flattering pair of jeans can be hard and confusing, and when you try on eight different pairs, all of which make you feel weird (way too BK hipster in Girls tight...Nelly video redux...Grandpa butt syndrome), your shopping trip can easily become a bust. Not to mention that a size can be huge at one store, and crotch-pain-inducing at another.
Thankfully, jeans extraordinaire Levi's has launched a bespoke program at its Meatpacking boutique, appropriately entitled the "Made-to-Order Jeans Project." You can choose all the details of your custom-crafted bottoms, including denim type, grommet style, and thread color.
Once you've sorted out the details, a master tailor will meet with you and create your dream blues, from scratch, by hand, in-store. Not kidding. Yes, guys, the prices range from $450-$750, but these just-for-you duds and VIP treatment are totally worth the sticker shock if it means you never have to shop for denim again.
Levi's, 414 West 14 Street (between 9th Avenue and Washington Street); 212-367-2110.
