Nike Lebron 9 by Freegums Hits Shelves December 31

These days, it seems like Lebron James is well on his way to conquering the world — well, at least Miami. He’s taken the Heat by storm as one of their best players, and just opened a sneakers and upscale streetwear (selling brands like Marc by Marc, Kidrobot, Vans) store in Aventura Mall.

Lebron can now add another star to his already brilliant resume: the Nike Lebron 9 by Freegums (aka Miami artist Alvaro Ilizarbe), which is available in limited release starting December 31. What looks like a classic ninth model Lebron sneaker on the outside is an arrangement of suns, sharks, palm trees, gators (and more!) on the inside. Hey, you guys forgot the mojitos!

But seriously, let's just hope these don't cause the same level of chaos as the new Air Jordans...
