Certain beauty products — think NARS blush in Orgasm, Clinique's Black Honey lipstick — are so good, they're practically famous. And, while we love many of these well-known products with a loyal following, we've been wondering why others have been quietly flying under the radar. With that in mind, meet our beauty series, Cult Classics, in which we'll introduce you to the products you really, truly should know about (and try, like, right now). They're not brand new, but trust us: They've got staying power.
Love 'em or hate 'em, there's one thing that's certain: bold brows aren't going anywhere — especially now that fall has, well, fallen. In fact, they're a beauty essential that nearly every makeup artist I've spoken to has championed. And, when it comes to filling in those brows, there's one tool that is head-and-shoulders above the other guys: Lancôme's Les Sourcils Définis.
Sure, there are plenty of brow pens and pencils on the market right now. But, Lancôme's design is a clear winner for a few reasons. The pen is super slim, allowing you to get into the nooks and crannies of your arches. You never have to worry about over-drawing, because the pigment is so easy to apply, which is perfect for ladies who are a bit gun-shy. Press lightly for a small wisp of color, or go a little harder for full shade payoff.
Les Sourcils Définis also has a handy little angled brush on the opposite end, which is perfect for on-the-go touch ups. It's also clutch for those times when you do accidentally over-draw. Simply brush the pigment through your brows with the mini guy to diffuse the shade.
Plus, it also comes in a variety of different colors. Even blondes who don't want dark brown brows have a way to fill in. This is a sure-fire way to kick even the worst brow phobias. So, isn't it time you gave it a shot?
