New Kid-Inspired Goods Get Us Pining for Playtime

kid-inspired-trends-1

Kid's these days, right? With our barely pubescent brothers and sisters doing some awesome things—
Love Magazine
dedicated an entire issue to youngsters who rock—we can't help but be inspired by the new school of high-achievers. From 13-year-old blogger-wunderkind Tavi to 13- and 14-year-old brother-sister rock duo Tiny Masters of Today, the kids are getting so talented that we're wondering if there's something new in the Dimetapp. Charles Anastase's spring '09 collection is perfectly playful as is this sweet pajama set from A.P.C., though we're loving little accents like a floral hair-tie or a pair of clunky clogs for everyday wear. So, even though you might have a driver's license and can legally go grab a drink, don't think that you have to banish all whimsy for your wardrobe—but, for our sake, don't go resurrecting your tattered overalls. Those can stay in the past.
