"My mood board is a giant bulletin board that I had installed on the inside of the door to my shoe closet. All sorts of ephemera make it onto the board, which changes regularly. The only two constants are the Avedon photo of Babe Paley and the pictures of Jon Kortajarena who I’m in love with—if the world was as it should be, he would be living here with me. Japanese soccer star Nakata has made it through a couple of rounds on the board, so it may end up being a trinity of Babe, Von and Nakata."
