Do homes have “seasons,” like clothes?
"Like clothes, homes definitely have seasons. In the summertime, I like to roll up wool rugs or silk rugs and put down sisal. I would also recommend changing out silk lampshades for paper, or taking heavy curtains down and just living with shades. Big tropical plants bring the outdoors in. You should switch out flannel sheets for cotton sheets and instead of wool blanket you can have a cotton blanket. It’s the same as the way you would wear white jeans in the summertime, and switch to corduroy for fall."
