"I really didn’t want to distract from the view in my living room so I kept all of the furniture low. It’s pretty much all mid-century—Paul McCobb, Warren McArthur, and Edward Wormley, except for the marble table which is 80s Miami. I haven’t named the plant in the corner, nor have I started talking to it, but I do consider him or her my roommate. I rarely use this room unless I am entertaining which I am doing with increasing frequency. I am a big fan of a neutral color palette as I deal with color and pattern all day long at the office. I like to inject color with accessories, in this case imperial yellow pillows—which are getting on my nerves and about to be replaced—flowers, and plants."
