"This is a detail of my living room. I found this sofa in the basement of an antique store in Tribeca. It is 15 feet long but mercifully comes in two pieces so I could fit it in the elevator and avoid all the drama of craning it. If there is such a thing as an addiction to pairs then I suffer from it. There are pairs all over this apartment. In the living room it manifests itself in 2 pairs of chairs, 2 pairs of lamps, 2 paintings (I am a huge fan of Franz Klein), and 2 Georg Jensen silver trays on my coffee table, which are always filled with candy."
