What trend would you love to see fade fast?
"Printed skinny jeans."
What piece are you most proud of from the fall '12 ready-to-wear collection?
"I am proud of all my work, and that line is still so new that it’s constantly evolving. For fall, I especially love my leather tunic and, quite frankly, all of the leather jackets! You see, the KW girl is charismatic, cultured, and curious — the epitome of raw and refined. She's unafraid to take fashion risks while looking totally effortless."
What do you love most from the last batch of accessories and decor?
"The Sphere Cuff is one of my favorite jewelry pieces because it stands out and looks awesome when worn on both arms. I also love the clutches with their beautiful stone settings. As for home accessories, my newest obsessions are the marble Kiss, the Rose Quartz Wine Stopper, and the Bejeweled Bottle Opener."
Would you ever be game to collaborate with another designer or artist on a project?
"There are so many designers in fashion and interiors whom I respect and admire. I would love to collaborate with Pierre Hardy to create an amazing collection of shoes. Plus, I can never get enough sunglasses and love what Warby Parker is doing — so that would be amazing. I would've also loved to have worked with the late Pol Bury — he was truly a remarkable sculptor and artist."
What mantra have you been living by lately?
"Take risks."
