Los Angeles is the sunglasses capital of the world, and one of our favorite new hometown brands, KBL, has just come out with a killer summer collection of must-have sunnies you won't be able to take off until well after Labor Day. Though KBL launched with a few styles earlier this year, their follow up for the SoCal summer is completely out of this world. KBL is designed right here in Los Angeles by founders Adam and Kara Mendelsohn, whose collective design experience includes stints at Oliver Peoples, Marc Jacobs, and Thakoon, and they've fashioned a rad line of glasses that are ideal for a bright weekend in the 'bu or a lazy Sunday perusing the Rose Bowl Flea Market. The durable and adorable plastic frames, which come in eye-popping lavender and turquoise as well as standard tortoise and black, are fashioned after vintage frames found in Treviso and '60s and '70s guitars. So make sure you check out every piece from this need-it-now accessories line, and rock out in KBL shade all summer long!
KBL Sunglasses, available at A. Kinney Court, 1423 Abbot Kinney Boulevard (at Milwood Avenue); 310-392-3400.
