Screaming Mimi's Summers in Montauk, Packs Opening Ceremony
Screaming Mimi's celebrated their 30th anniversary as well as the advent of summer by opening up a seasonal outpost in Montauk this weekend. Screaming Mimi's has long been known for their killer selection of vintage clothing and accessories, but they've upped the ante this season by partnering with Opening Ceremony to reissue three nautical-inspired pieces from previous years. The collection includes a preppy women's seersucker short with rope trim and a plush towel designed by Mimi's illustrator Fawn Gehweiler. The cozy beach house is also stuffed with vintage sunglasses, tons of vintage finds, and one-of-a-kind scrimshaw jewelry. For any city-dweller, this little gem will be well worth the LIRR fare.
