Recess Time!: Upper Playground Comes to NYC

Upper Playground, already, a staple of the T-shirt-hunting, graphic-loving, skateboard-riding set, is already an institution on the West Coast with a strong presence in the Bay Area and a relatively new store in Los Angeles. Well, today, The Cut got the scoop on their newest location, right here in our own East Village. Now, of course, being a New York store, the new Upper Playground is far more cramped and dark than its West-Coast siblings, but considering the wears on sale, including Grotesk and Upper Playground's house brand, we think we'll be okay. Skate on down. (The Cut)
Upper Playground is located at 437 East 9th Street, New York, 212-254-2233.
