The retail offspring of an American jewelry designer and a French translator at the United Nations BLOODLINE NYC, which features Japanese raw denim, Mongolian sheep cushions, and Brazilian cowhide rugs, certainly commingles genetic material from the four corners of the earth. Created by Sabine Carden and Marie Roldan, BLOODLINE NYC is perhaps edgier and more artisanal than its often cutesy Lower East Side lifestyle store neighbors. Of course, that doesn't mean that it doesn't stock fig soaps, candles from the South of France, and ylan hand creams for all your feminine needs. After all, creature comforts run in everyone's blood.
