"I wanted my dad to walk me down the aisle, but I didn't love the old-fashioned tradition of having him 'give me away.' So my mom came up with a great solution. When my uncle asked, 'Who gives this woman to take this man?' my father answered, 'She comes of her own accord, with the full support of her mother and me.' I really loved that line."
