Tell us a bit about your vision for More of Me when you started, back in 2008?
"When I was pregnant with my first baby, I felt like I was wearing a costume. The maternity clothing options just weren't reflective of my personal style whatsoever — the cuts, colors, and prints available in the market were just not me. I set out to create a maternity line that was more like me — clothes I actually wanted to wear, not clothes I was forced to buy because my body had changed so much and I needed clothing with extra fabric to cover me. When your body is changing during pregnancy and you feel unrecognizable, it is nice to wear clothes that make you feel like yourself, and allow you to keep your personal style. That was, and remains, the idea behind More of Me. I try to design clothing that doesn't have the stereotypical maternity look, but still fits properly."
