Inside Gap 1969’s Inspiring Downtown L.A. Studio

After a few recent shakeups, The Gap is once again hitting its stride, thanks in no small part to the super-talented staff behind the new fall 1969 Premium Denim collection. After popping by 1969’s infinitely cool Downtown digs for a Vogue-hosted preview, we're 100% sure that there’s something for everyone to scoop up at their Robertson boutique. With beyond-flattering skinny jeans, awesome parkas, and cropped coats that are so not frumpy, and cool cords in bright, of-the-moment hues, this line is a slam-dunk for every fall essential imaginable. Of course, the best part of previewing the collection was meeting the stylish staff responsible for bringing The Gap back to the forefront, including women’s designer Rosella Giuliani, the menswear maestro Jason Ferro, and their supremely chic employees who are breathing new life into the mass brand. So, armed with our camera, we headed to the DTLA studio for some outfit inspiration, office-envy, and a sneak-peek at the lust-worthy—and insanely well-priced—fall staples.
