What's the key to entertaining in a tiny pad?
"Preparation. Sometimes you just have to move things out of the way. I do love to entertain, but the size of my place creates a problem. I'm lucky to have a yard, so I can work with the weather and a BBQ to entertain outdoors."

Have you had any noteworthy parties?
"I've hosted a few parties over the years — all outdoors, because otherwise it would be a really small crowd. They typically involve a mariachi band and a taco truck — that helps to keep me out of the kitchen and enjoying the party!"

What percentage of the time do you spend indoors versus outdoors?
"If the sun is out, my front door is open. It tricks me into believing I have an indoor-slash-outdoor living room. My 'dining table' is also on the porch, so if it's nice out, that's where I'll be for meals or backgammon."
