Mitik The Orphaned Walrus — While there are plenty of humans that deserve attention (and needy pets, too), the walrus that went viral for its recent move to the NY Aquarium found himself right in harm's way during Sandy. Luckily, ol' Mitik made it through thanks to a bunch of vigilant volunteers and employees who stayed up all night to monitor the sick baby. (MSN Now)
