The Summer-Camp-Approved DIY We Still Love

Just because the days are getting shorter and the office AC's becoming less intense, doesn't mean you have to completely abandon those sweet summer vibes. You know them well: They smell like sunscreen but taste like margaritas. Feel like a balmy island breeze and sound like dinner sizzling on the grill. Yep, these are the moments we want to hang onto just a little while longer. That’s why we teamed up with Cotton Incorporated to learn how to keep the good times going with a perennial approach to tie-dye. Since some of our oldest dyed tees are still hanging in there — sans fading, pilling, or clinging — we're sticking with easy-to-care-for cotton fabric. But don't worry, this summer-camp staple is simpler (and more wearable!) than it was as a kid. In a few steps, you’ll have a new favorite shirt or pants to pair with those fall pieces you're slowly phasing in.
