What are your New Year's resolutions, and why?
"As with every year, I have promised myself to try and sleep more and take better care of my forever-tortured skin and hair. Also...to get back to spinning again."

Have you managed to keep them so far?
"Spinning — total fail. (It has been so cold and so dark in the mornings!) Sleep — I'm still working on it, but it is a process. I have been killing it with the hair and skin regime, actually."

Has anything helped you stick with it?
"Well, I went to Bluemercury and spent $100 on shampoo and conditioner — and for all of those who don't believe in investing in product, I can tell you that after years of being perfectly okay with drugstore brands, the switch to investment products was life-changing. I never want to have hair that is not this shiny. Also, I am pretty into Kiehl's Rosa Arctica Cream and Estée Lauder's Idealist Serum. They make my skin feel so good, I have legitimately been asking people to touch my face at random. So, I guess the key to taking better care of one's self is to get hooked on some products?"

What's the biggest obstacle to keeping your resolution?
"The fact that there is no time for me to sleep, and that there is only slightly more time for me to put creams on my face."

Bumble and bumble Let It Shine Shampoo, $24, and Conditioner, $25, available at Bumble and bumble; Estée Lauder Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator, $60, available at Estée Lauder.
