What is the first step to take when searching for the perfect job?
"It's important to realize that your dream job isn't always glamorous; there are a lot of undesirable aspects that are going to come along with whatever it is you choose to do.  More importantly, you need to figure out what you're willing to sacrifice.  If you have a family and your ideal job requires you to travel most of the time, then that might not actually be the right job for you."

What is the wisest piece of interview advice you've ever been given/given to others?
"Do your research.  It's important to know about the company you're interviewing at so that you can be sure it's the right fit.  This will mentally prepare you, which will make you confident during the interview!"

How can readers make themselves stand out professionally among other job applicants?
"Know who you are.  Be calm and confident.  Dress in a way that makes you feel great, and that will come through in your personality.  If you look good, you feel good!"
