Katie's party-ready bar setup.

We noticed you mostly use vintage barware. Where are your favorite shops for glassware and tools?
"The Hour in Old Town Alexandria for glassware and vintage cocktail sets, Cocktail Kingdom for bar tools and cocktail books."

When you have guests over, what's your favorite thing to whip up?
"I always do a punch if I have a party — that way guests can have a drink in their hands immediately upon arrival. Punches are so versatile and allow a lot of room for creativity. Beyond that, though, I'll make a Martini any day, or a Sazerac or Old-Fashioned."

Any suggestions for easy drinks we can make to get started? "Probably an Old-Fashioned, as you can build it right in the glass that you'll serve it in, and therefore will have fewer mixing glasses to wash. It requires just sugar, spirit, bitters, and ice. Otherwise, a Daiquiri and Martini are also very simple and are fantastic choices."
